Greetings everyone!
Picked up my first Harley last weekend... super stoaked! Its been about two decades since I last been on a bike so I thought I'd get my feet wet with this 2020 883. It is basically brand new with only 1700mi. on it. The person who had it only remembers having the oil changed once back when they purchased it (2021) from the local HD dealer... so I want to at least change the oil. Looks simple enough to do that myself so im going to go ahead and get that done. Any recommendations or suggestions on what else I should take care of would greatly be appreciated!
FWIW... My buddies said I would regret going with the 883 and should just get a 1200. I gotta be honest... this is PLENTY of bike for me! I come from a dirt bike backround (as a kid) and rode a Hurricane back in the day. This is a totally different beast and Im truly pleased with its power. Im basically using it to commute back and forth to work as I (re)learn the ropes. I guess my only "complaint" is it is ridiculously loud... lol. I go to work at 5am and live in the city... so im guessing the neighbors aren't too pleased but God Damm... does it sound nice!
