Hello to all. Not a new Harley Owner, but have been a long term reader of this forum so thought it was about time i joined and participated.
Im Ben in Leicester.
Had an XL1200CB first, then it got wrote off by a lady reversing into/over it.
Then got a bargain on a 2007 XL883C with only 3k miles (ex Black Bear Harley Davidson demonstrator bike).
Traded that in a year ago for my baby, my 2013 FXDBA Street Bob Special Edition. Red Wheels have gained her the name Dorothy (Wizard of Oz) by my wife, and the blue tank really sets it off. So far ive replaced most bolts with black stainless, put on a K&N heavy breather, put on the digital speedo (which is causing me issues with fuel level not matching the fuel gauge) and installed a Dynojet Power Vision.
Ive been upgrading things that have been neglected by the previous owner such as bolts, pegs, grips etc. Have just installed a whitewall rear tyre and the front was delivered yesterday so thats the job for this weekend. Along with replacing the O2 sensors in the exhausts as one was damaged anyway, and while trying to replace the damaged one the wires pulled out of the other, non-damaged one. grrrrrrr.
