Thought I was going to quit riding. I am closing on 74 years.
Then I made the mistake of sitting on a new Fat Boy.
I am considering buying it.
It will be my 7th HD if I do.
Hate to get a loan, but that is the only way I can do it.
Thoughts?
Don't take a loan. Find a low mileage used bike, the guy that buys new always takes a big hit when he sells.

I generally agree with this, but with bikes in particular - and maybe Harley in particular - that new bike warranty is nice to have even with the big depreciation hit.

Well I rode the Fat Boy and did not really like the handling due to the fat rear tire.
So I bought the new Heritage Classic. I used to have a Heritage. Much better for us.
About buying new, I got a good price on the bike and to be honest, I have no problem keeping HD in business. They are having some financial issues lately as you all know.
I used to work for AMF HD in York. I am partial.
