Now for those of you who never been in NY, not everyone lives in the city. I live less than an hour south of Lake George, Americade country. Been biking on and off for the last 30+ years. My present ride is a Beemer, but I'm am yearning for a Fatboy to add to my stable (which is full with dirt bikes for the kids and a scooter for the wife). I just found this site and I think I found a new home. Lots of good threads. Love the pics, hope to post some soon once I get the wifes blessing and pick one up. She's softening up a little, wait till she sees what I got her for Christmas. I am an Ironbutt member, I love Track days and love cruzin with friends. Well, until I get my Fatboy, I'll be searching this site for your words of wisdom... gots to pass the time away somehow this winter, why not shopping for a new ride. Keep the rubber side down, Joe
Hi Joe, a big hearty welcome from Southern Virginia. Lake George, huh...I lived up in Saranac Lake for a short time. Moved back to Virginia when it started snowing in May What can I say I'm a wimp when it comes to the cold. Love looking at the snow, just don't like the cold. Good Luck with persuading your wife into the Fatboy. I'm sure you'll win her over on getting it, especially once it starts getting warmer!!! Once you get it, make sure to post some pics. This is a Great Forum.....with lots of Great Folks, glad you decided to join the fun!!!!
Welcome to the forum, I took my sweetie bike shopping this last spring. Now he's riding a herritage softtail, who knows, I bet you're next!! keep warm, and ride safe!(what ever you're riding!)

Welcome, Joe!! Glad you found the forum. Sounds like you've got a lot of experience and stories to share, looking forward to it. And good luck on the HD shopping.
Welcome aboard and I'm sure you'll be throwing your leg over that fatboy soon enough.
It always suprises me that people actually live in other parts of New York other than the city.
Seriously though, been through several parts of your state and it's just beautiful. Spent some good times in the Ft. Drum area, home of the U.S. Army's Elite 10th Mountain Division. Absolutely beautiful up there.
Glad you found us, and hope you have good luck with the wife after Christmas...get her a Harley T-shirt, and get yourself one...wrap 'em both up and look very surprised when they get opened on Christmas morning...maybe she'll get the subtle hint!
