'07 Nightster OD green, haven't been riding regularly since the 70's, a 175 Suzuki, have to learn how to keep my *** on the seat. Got the forward controls on, that should do it. Progressive 12.5's in the back, next month my black ceramic V&H shortshots should be in. I'm gonna go with a K&N with the SERT. Just ordered a set of Metzler ME880's as the Dunlops don't do it for me. Waiting to see what Lapera comes up with on a new seat then I'll make a decision on that. The stock has to go, looks great, feels like a brick, and hopefully some 12" mini apes will finish it up for me, but I'm thinking of doing something with the tank.... Extremely happy with the bike. Other than the minor distraction with the fuel pump it's been great. Everyone seems real impressed with the base price of the bike but when I look at what I'm spending getting it the way I want it I cringe a bit. Still, no regrets, it's a friggin blast to ride. Chrome for me is like havingtoddlers or cats. I like them alot as long as someone else has the responsibility of looking after them. That and the "Steve McQueen/Great Escape" styling of the bike is what got me into the dealer to buy one as soon as a friend showed me a picture of it. Thanks Charlie, I'm hooked again. I've already picked a few brains here and hope to learn more. Thanks.
