Default Hello from Denmark...

Hi !!!

I´m all new here, but hope to get some great bikerfriends through this forum.

I bought my first Harley,a HD FL from ´68,almost 2 yearsago andtook it apart and sold most of the parts. Then Ibought a lot of new partsand fabricatedsome parts myself to build up a Custom bike.

After 16 months the bike was finally ready to hit the road and I´m real happy to finally have joined the community that rides Harley´s.

I´ve attached some photos of my bike, but to those that need glasses (Photos isnot the best taken on planet earth), I can tell, that the bike is a all through Custom Bike. The only thing let from the ´68 FL is the frame. The frontend is a ´80-´83 FXWG with a Rebuffini (Italian) billet triple tree, a V-team (German, stainless steal) handlebar with OMP (Italian) billet hand controls, OMP billet grips and Rebuffini billet mirrors. OMP billet forward controls with a Custom Chrome Mirage sidestand and OMP billet passenger pegs. Rear end is a custom made stainless steel swingarm with Dyna 11,5 inch shocks. Wheels are Revtech Stiletto billet wheels (19 inch front and 18 inch rear with a 150/60 tyre), with Stiletto rotors and a Stiletto chain sprocket. Sheetmetal is a Bellwether front fender, a OEM Dyna rear fender, a Custom Chrome Regency gas tank and acustom stainless steeloil tank. Seat is a custom made Mustang seat. Brakes are Performance Machine 4-piston brake calipers (2 in front, 1 rear). Lightning is a Thunderbike billet headlamp (German), a Arlen Nesstail light, Kellerman micro turn indicators. Dash is a OEM Dash with a Joker Machine upper and lower panel (Upper has been customized with a Küryakyn speedometer visor) anda HD Speed/Tach combo. The engine is a S&S 79´ retrofit Evo engine with all S&S internal parts, S&S billet rocker boxes, Chrome Horse billet cam cover, Chrome Horse billet lifter blocks, Sumax billet pushrod tubes and a custom made billet oil filter bracket with a custommadeoil cooler.Ignition is a Crane HI-4 single fire ignition with aCrane coil, Ultima spark plug wires and Screaming Eagle spark plugs. Charging system is from Compu-fire, 32 amp with a billet regulator. Intake is a S&S Super E caburetor (Modified with a Davinci Firepower booster kit), a Pingel petcock, a Doherty Machine PowerPacc with a BigDog air filter Cover. Exhaust is a Wyatt Gatling ground shaker with custom madebaffles and torque cones (Will be replaced by a Vance and Hines 2 into 1 slash-cut pipe this winter).Primary is a´91 to ´93 primary witha high performance clutch, a HB-125 chain tensioner anda BalanceMasteron the clutch and compensator. Transmission is a modified ´98 Softail with a close-ratiofirst gear, a Jims billet transmisson top cover, a Jims billet transmissiontrap door and a OMP billet hydraulic clutch. All oil lines and brake lines, clutch line and throttle cable are braided stainless steal. Starter is a 1,4kw starter with a OMP billet starter end cover and a ProOne Solenoid cover modified with a starter puch button. All electric wiresis custom made with a Battistini Easy-Harness box that controls the micro switches in the hand controls (indicators, horn, high/low, starter and kill switch). Battery is from Odyssey. And finally there is a lot of billet parts on the bike (OMP point cover, OMP inspection cover, OMP derby cover, OMP head bolt covers, OMP oil stick, custom made oil tank plug, custom made swingarm bolt cover, custom madeupper and lower shock covers, custom made fender struts(very proud of these),custom made licence plate holder with led light, custom made front and rear wheel axle endcovers, custom made wheel spacers, upper engine mount, etc. All bolts are polished stainless steel bolts and some of them are covered with Spectre chrome bolt caps.
