Hi Art and welcome to the this site.
We were just at Chucks last Saturday.
I think they are good people, I do buy some stuff from them but not very much.
I bought my bike at Andrea's and I do go to Hall's in springfield many times.
Please, don't get the Sportster thou.
I think it has all ready been said what to get, if not, get the Ultra[sm=happybounce.gif]
If you plan on doing 2 up riding I would recommend the Road King. I have one and my wife use to ride with me until she got her owe harley, a vrod. Now I have the solo look on the king and she is happy riding her own. Look a the vrod, its a nice balanced bike, has the power if you need it, and probably could get an new 04 for great price. Whatever you choose, choose what you like......
Safe riding
I think the Road King will suit you the best, given your description of the situation. I would think the 883 would be the least desirable for you. The bike is going to maintain value for you, they are pricey, but realize that it's not as bad as buying a new car.
Good luck with your choice and let us know what you do.
You really gotta get what feels good to you, as you are the one who is going to have to live with it. I made my choice by doing a lot of test sitting til I found what fix me and was confortable to me.
