Hello. I'm new to the forum. I ride my SuperGlide based out of the near north side of Chicago. Looks like a fun forum and I'm happy to be here with fellow enthusiasts.
If the picture works out, you'll see my ride and my buddy Czar.
Welcome Larry. I see your from the Chicago area. I just found out, were windier here in Buffalo than you are. I always thought Chicago was the windy city. Nice Dyna Custom you have in the pic, great dog too. btw..when you post pic's, if you resize them to 640x440 or less, their more compatible with the forum, even when you put them on as an attachment. Would be nice if you had a way to take Buddy with you when you ride, but he's kinda big.
Thanks for the tip on sizing. I'll see if I can figure that out before I post another pic.
Czar is kind of a big fellow, so no dogs on hogs for him.
I've heard that Boston has a higher average wind speed than Chicago too! Rumor has it that the New York papers dubbed Chicago the windy city because of the salesmen and promoters who came to New York to drum up investments and business for one of Chicago's World's Fairs. The "wind" was all "hot air" apparently.
Speaking of hot air, can't wait til it warms up enough to get the ice off the street so I can take a short spin!
