hello all, im unitas. im from memphis, tn. im about to purchase a 06 street glide. im thinking about puting the 95 big bore kit on it or the 103 screaming eagle. i was hoping to get a lil fead back on either one. im a big guy and im looking for some extra power but in it to reliable too. if you have any comments i would be in your debt. thanks
HeyTim,
Welcome to the forum. I have the 95 Stage 2 in mine and I am very pleased with it. It has good usable power and torque and has been very reliable for the 12,000 miles I have put on it so far. I ride 2 up most of the time, and find that the 95 gives me all the power I need for both Interstate travel, and 2 lane highways. I have no 103 experience, so can't help there.
Welcome[sm=groupwave.gif] to the family. I really like that Street Glide myself[sm=smiley32.gif], I may have gone that way if the wife wasn't so attached to her Queen's Throne[sm=teetertooter.gif]!
What color is your beauty? Really, with a couple mods. that 88 will run real nice, but if you have to, BUILD IT!
