Thanks to all of you for responding! I'll close this thread as soon as I figure out how to do it. I'll post a picture when I buy my DWG, not if. Gotta sell this Yamaha 1100 though.

Hello,

I am the guy you e-mailed about the V65. If I did not make myself clear in the e-mail, YOU WILL LOVE THE HARLEY MORE THAN ANY BIKE YOU HAVE EVER OWNED. When you stop for gas or anywhere, What are the brand bikes that every one flocks to to look at? While riding on the highway, What are the brand bikes that catches YOUR attention? Not only do they have the shock and awe of the bike world, but they are reliable, thanks to Willie G and friends purchasing back from AMF and doing the R and D required to build a quality product...

Buy the Harley, you will be asking yourself, "why did I wait so long".

A warm welcome from out west in Walker Basin, California.

I have an 05 Road King. I have put over 10K miles on it since I got it in May. Most of those miles are two up and many of those with a Kuryakyn Full Dresser Bag on the back.

I did have one problem with the bike, an air cleaner bolt came out. That was because who ever did the Stage I air cleaner installation did not use loctite and torque the bolt properly. I did the repair myself and it has not been a problem in 8K miles.

I like the air adjustable suspension on the RK. I carry the air pump with me and can adjust as condition warrant. I have ridden as much as 500 miles in one day. One change I did make was to get rid of that 50 mile stock saddle and get a Pillow Look HD saddle. Very comfortable on my 57 year old back side.

The RK fits my riding style, mostly touring and commuting. The hard bags are lockable.

If I want to his the "Crusing Crowd" scene, the luggage rack and backrests are quick detachable, the windshield comes off in a jiffy, and it takes 10 minutes to remove the rocking chair seat and put on a cool looking solo saddle.

All in all the RK fits me an my lifestyle.

My engineer at the fire station has a 2000 Road Star and a 2005 Road Star. I have ridden them both and still prefer my Road King.
