In from the cold
Hello from the frozen North. (well it's frozen this time of year anyway)
I ride an 03 Heritage Classic and an 06 Ultra Classic.
Been down and up the Alaska Highway twice since 03. I recommend the ride for anyone who is looking for a great long distance run.
Joined up so I could say a very loud "THANK YOU!!" to the forum owners, sponsors, and contributors.
Last night I installed an HD Factory Security System in the Ultra and the pig would not start. [:@]
Went back over everything, took it all apart, put it back together with the original TSM and it ran[:-]
Put the TSSM module and no go.
I did a web search on the TSSM and Google turned up a hit on the DIY section of this forum.
There I found the missing piece of the puzzle. You have to "marry" the new TSSM to your ECM.
I would still be kicking the tires if it weren't for you folks.
Again, THANK YOU!!

Hey Mike, where in AK are you freezin'? Until this last week, if it weren't for my ICY driveway, I coulda taken chilly rides! I'm in Palmer, where the snow all blew away, and left the stinkin' ice.
Welcome, I only know of 4 of us Alaskans on the forum now, one in Anch, one in Wasilla, and myslef, and now you. Maybe we'll catch ya on the road this spring!

Just down the Glenn in Anchorage.
Streets are snow packed and icy this week. But you're correct. If I could have made it out to the main road a few weeks back I could have been ridin".
If you run with HOG Chapter 66 or 1836 you will see me.
