Hello from GA. Just wondering about a future tattoo. Thinking about a Celtic cross, but have heard that it is associated with some extremist groups over there. Any truth to that?

No truth whatsoever, mate. Celtic designs are generally associated with the Irish culture so they were incorporated in a limited way into some of the republican (IRA) stuff, but it was never a symbol the way a swastika is for the *****. These days celtic shapes are pretty much used everywhere by everyone.
A complex cross is a beautiful shape. I'm getting a World Dog - it's a dog twined over in a celtic knot biting its own tail.
Wear it with pride

Thanks for the info. I will definitely keep the tattoo idea then. Love the way the celtic knots and crosses intertwine and flow. Good stuff. Be safe.
