Rode Japanese sportsbikes since 1991. Saw the light one day in '04 and picked up a brand new sportster. What a bike, you couldn't beat it with a stick.
Eventually traded the sporty for an '01 wide glide a year ago - and promptly slid it up the road - a bummer, but a good opportunity to rebuild for free.
Now running V&H straight shots through a Kuryakin hypercharger. Sounds fantastic but scares children and animals for 1/2 mile around.
Gradually replacing ugly bits with custom parts as and when wallet allows.
Not really into chrome, prefer performance over looks, but always ready to accept advice on getting it to roll that little bit faster.
