Welcome to the club! If I was to give advice, I'd say take the BRC, don't be intimidated, practice, practice, practice, oh & above all, have fun. Before you know it you'll be at the local dealer lookin at a bigger bike.

Welcome from Illinois!

Welcome to the forum Lisa, From Portland Oregon.
Ya, I know that you will do fine. I am 5" 1" and I ride a 750
pound Delux. The big key is to keep the bike balanced so
all of the bikes weight is on the wheels. Practice to build
confidence and you will start enjoying the time on this
special bike.

Welcome golfgurl, from the Oregon coast. Enjoy the ride. I started riding 18 months ago. My ride sat in my garage for two months until I took the beginning riders class. I have put almost 5000 miles on the bike since. Lures has it right practice, practice, practice. I would take my bike out two or three times a day just riding quiet streets. The confidence will come. Enjoy the ride.

Ride Safe.
