Hello... I am VERY new to riding.. haven't even taken safety course yet! Starting classes on saturday & sunday Feb. 23rd-24th. Got my temporary permit..
I am very nervous suddenly.. I am 5 ft tall weigh 115 lbs.
I am very small and that sorta scares me... any advice.. I bought a 2006 sportster 883 LOW.
also.. should I purchase 3 more years of extended warranty for $1400.00 ? Is it worth it?
Welcome aboard. You're gonna be fine. IMHO forget the extended warranty. The 883 is a good bike. Any problems will show up quickly and you have the factory warranty. Now relax and enjoy th ride. The company here is great. Lotsa good people.
Welcome from a fellow Harley girl!! I too was a "virgin rider", but with a lot of time and parking lot practice have become a more comfortable rider. The safety course will help your confidence so much. Just remember that you are in control of the bike and it is not in control of you.
I agree with the advice about not worring about the extended warranty. Iowned a '991200C for 9 years and never had a warranty-related issue with her. Several things I worked on myself, but with Sportys and that evo engine, I doubt you'll have any real problems with the bike.

Welcome to the forum. You'll be fine, just take it nice and easy. Always ride like you're INVISIBLE, because to the cagers, YOU ARE!
Keep us posted on how you're doing.
