hey guys,
i just made the jump and purchased my first harley. its an 05 soft tail deluxe. she is beautiful. i got the black and white one. reminds me of a classic caddy. i believe a current member just purchased the same bike "Tstewart20". good luck with it!! i dont plan to customize anything to much (although thats what they all say) i like the bike the way it is . maybe change the pipes and put a back rest on her. i would like to shorten the exhaust a little to show off the rear tire. ill post pics when i pick her up and get settled in.
05 Deluxe, Welcome to the Forum, I am also a first time Harley Owner and loving every minute of it, can't wait for the weather to break here in the East, you have come to the right place for Harley talk, alot of good people on the forum with alot of good information.
hey John, welcome - I do like that bike, colors look good on it; gotta tell ya though, I don't recall seeing a Harley I didn't like; that's what makes the final pick so damn hard to do!! CONGRATS again!
John,
Welcome from Indiana. Beautiful Bike ya got there. I just made the leap a couple of weeks ago myself. It still feels great. Enjoy the forums. Great folks. Great stories. Be safe.
Welcome! Nice collection you have going there. The Deluxe is a great looking ride, it reminds me of a caddy also. I came very close to going with the same bike you're buying. My dealer had the exact same color scheme, one week after I bought my bike somebody was driving off with the Deluxe. I'm sure you'll enjoy it, keep us posted as to what you think of it once you get some miles on her...
