I did the exact same thing as you,did my mc course passed and then bought my first bike an 04 FLHRI.the first ride to the road from the parking lot of the dealer I was kind of shakey cause of the size maybe the excitement and then got on the road I just melted into the seat and relaxed couldn't beleive the way it handled,better than those honda 400 I used on the riders road test,it sure was a dream come true.
Oh ya btw I pulled over a few miles later to pinch myself so I can beleive it wasn't a dream...
