I have spent the last 8 months reading the Forum. I am new to Harley, so I havealot to learn and this is the place to be. Put money on a Rocker Clast July, it arrived 6 months later, and I hope to finally have it on the road in a few weeks. In Wisconsin the first 5 months are snow, then just cold and wet so there was no need to have the bike delivered when it first arrived. Did the normal chrome chitt to the bike. Sent the wheels out to bechromed but as is often the case the original cast wheels would not take a good chrome so I utimately ordered a set from Renegade. They are scheduled to arrive this week and I am working with Alligator Bob on a new seat.
I have also learned that Harley people share what's on their mind. Over the past months the threads criticizing the 08 Rocker have been many.It does not bother me,everybody has an opinion, I don't like everyones bike either but I can't argue if it's a Harley.
Big thanks to everyone who contributes to this Forum. As soon asmy bike is done I will post some pics share what I have done and learned.
