keep at it, dont give up, good to see your ok. the sportster will be a blast. Im a new rider too ( little more than 1 year,started on a sportster ) and have had my share of screw ups

just to let everyonoe I passed my basic riding course\\; I got my license on 6/10 and I have been on the Sporty ever sense.

The MSF class is required in Florida after June 30th. It's a great thing. I work the High School driver's ed courses for ABATE, and the kids have zero understanding of what it means to ride a bike.

I never had the class as a youth. I worked my way up through bigger and bigger bikes, and was lucky to only get dropped bad once.

Good on you for keeping going! Learners in New Zealand HAVE to ride less than 250cc for about 18 months before they get a full licence. You'll be amazed at how much fun you can have on a small bike.
