Default Newbie here.Hello
Don't have a bike yet.I'll be wanting info advice.I'm 54 and in remission from Acute Leukemia.Spent 13 weeks in the hospital.Any how starting to feel normal again from all the chemo.Was involved in the auto repair business in what I call middle management in the dealership end.In the service dept.Not auto sales.Fooled with motorcycles back in the 70s.I am wanting to buy a H.D.and spend 30 to 60 days on the road.Want to ride the coast from Georgia through Texas etc.Would like advise on doing such.Which bike,new or used would rather be used unless big incentive for new.Don't want a radio,flairing etc.But I do want to be comfy.I like a Heritage Classic look that also means Road Kings,Fat Boy maybe a Glide Classic etc.Direct me to where I need to be forum wise for advise on bikes,years what to expect on the road and to be prepared for.Thanks.Hounddogee

How much differant in ride,handling etc.is a Road King over a Fat Boy,Heritage Classic out fitted with bags,windshield and what not.

Now just don't lead me in one direction or another cause you ride a certain model.Which model and which years and ease of resale later would you all suggest?
