Hey....great looking site! \\; \\; I guess I'll save any questions til I look around and get familiar with the site and its members. \\; A couple quick questions which I'll likely answer myself in the next few minutes....#1..are there any other Canadian members or close to the Canadian border members? \\; \\; And #2...I just purchased an '06 Ultra Classic...needs a riders backrest and was hoping someone might know if I need the specific mounting bracket, or if they're all the same for the Road King, Road Glide, Electra and Ultra?? \\; If so, what the part number might be?? \\; hehe <\\;
Welcome from Nevada! The Harley site will answer your question. By the way, the backrest will be one of the best purchases you will ever make. Be sure to get an adjustable one, trust me!
Congrats and welcome, mountainape!
The backrest will require an on-fender mounting receiver - easy enough to install.
The question is whether or not you want the adjustable versus fixed positioned one.
I vote for the adjustable one.
Best of luck!
