Hey guys! Just picked up a brand new 08 Sportster 1200C yesterday! I used to be into cars pretty big but recently sold all of my toys of the 4 wheeled variety and started noticing their much better on gas mileage two wheeled bretheren. I honestly have been eying the nightster since before it came out in 07. Back in May of 07 I actually put a down payment on an 08 sportster without ever seing one or sitting on one but the release date on the 08's kept geting pushed back and in august I bought a house. This summer I signed up for the local Illinois Motorcycle safety class and got a class in September. In preperation for getting my license at the end of the class Me and the old lady went to look at bikes At Starved Rock HD and ended up leaving with the 08. Its crimson red sunglo\ candy red sunglo. So far I plan on adding V&H straight shot slip ons, a sissy bar, a more comfortable seat, some bags, and probably a quick detatch windshield (will only go on on long trips.) Aside from that I plan on riding the hell out of it. 
I know not a good pic, but its all ive got right now. Its currently 2am and locked in the garage.
