Hi folks, I thank you for having me. I've just purchased my first Harley 73 sportster, kick start only a couple days ago and yeah the knee is a little sore already. I'm 40 yrs old, married with 2 beuatiful daughters, 3 and 9. I have always had motorcyles (mostly Japanese) up until I got married about 10 years ago. I just sold my 70 Chevy El Camino a couple weeks ago, paid some bills and bought this bike. It appears there is plenty of good knowledgeable people here willing to share the experiences and knowledge to help out their fellow Harley owner. I'm looking forward to learning a lot here and meeting some really good people.
Take care!
Tom (TWDJR)
P.S. I've had a little trouble kick starting the bike but I did get it started 3 times the first afternoon I bought it. I didn't try much yesterday but if my battery is weak with this make it harder to kick start?
