Welcome from another Newbie from Dallas,TX. That is a good price here in Dallas. I bought a prestine 2000 883 with 700 miles to include a dealer service/check-up for about the same price you will be paying. I am very happy with mine and as they say that's all that matters.Pics are in my gallery if you want to check.
First of all....Hello! I am in Newnan Ga, and ride a Boulevard C90, but I have found a 02 Sportster 883 with 6,000 miles that my wife is just crazy about
I have never had a Harley....it's all new to me, but was wondering what I should look/look out for? The pros and cons if you will This one like I said is an 02 w/ 6000 and some odd miles. One owner, Great South HD in Newnan has it now.
They bought it from the original owner, it wasn't a trade in. He was an older fellow that just didn't ride any more and wanted to sell it. I think they are asking 4800-4900 is this a reasonable price.
Is there any ongoing problems that I should be aware of with this bike?
Thanks for any input in advance....Chuck
Welcome to the forum from Carrollton GA, Great South Harley is a wonderful dealer, and has a good knowledgeable parts and service crew, in parts the man to see is Cornbread, in service the man to see is Mike, as far as the price that they are asking for the sporty, I believe it to be a little steep. unless you are going to pay cash for the bike the way to get the best interest rate is to buy a new bike, a little more money, but you are not buying a potential problem, or if you do it is under warranty.
