Hey from Down Under!
Not that we refer to ourselves in that way, but it does seem to be a tag that Americans like to use for us. Anyway, Ive been reading the forums here for a while and really enjoyed them. I figured its time to dip my toes in teh water. Just ordered a '09 crossbones. Will be here in February apparently. Cant wait! Some things I've noticed about the bones while agonising over the purchase during the last 6 months or so. I tried really hard to like the seat and went on some pretty decent test rides, but I just couldnt put up with it. the riding position seems too close to the bars and I just seemed to be sitting on top of the bike rather than in it which I preferred. I am going for a brawler single seat to replace it I think but I am open to suggestions. Otherwise all it needs is some decent pipes. I'm thinking V&H black short shots with the power commander to tune properly. Oh and the screaming eagle air filter. I'm very jealous of the prices you pay for your bikes by the way. My bones will cost about US$25000 by the time I ride home. Any clues would be welcome. Cheers Mark
