Hi, I bought my Harley this past July 26th and I have not come off this "Harley High" yet. Yes I am a brand new rider at the ripe age of 55. I rode some back in the 70's, but nothing I rode compares to my 2008 FLSTC.
I signed up for the safety course through the Community College system here in NC when I purchased the bike. The first opening was in mid October and I am looking forward to the course.
I am in the country, so I ride country roads. I look forward to riding with my neighbor some after I get some "seat time".
Good choice taking the course. Enjoy the new ride. I'm 49 and got back into motorcycling again in 2005 after many years in a cage. It has been great. I rode to Sturgis and am now hooked.
