First Harley
Just bought an 88 1200 Sportster. Found this forum and will have a lot of questions. From what I have read so far, I think I'm in the right place. Been away from bikes for about twenty years, rode Jap bikes back then. Live down in southern Arizona, a great place to ride.

An older Sporty,cool. I took a little time off from riding myself, got back into it a few years ago. Like you i was riding rice, they make a great rocket have to admit, always wanted a Harley though. After my layoff from riding decieded it was time for a Harley when i started riding again got a Sportster, have since traded that on a Softtail Standard. Welcome aboard!!!!!

Glad you found us. I'm in Yuma, AZ, not too familiar with where Mescal is, I'll need to pull out the map. Lots of good info on the board and its something to do when you can't be riding or not at work.

Welcome Mr Bowjack. My son just got his first Harley a 05 XL1200C Sportster and I just bought me a Road King Custom(could not let the boy outdo his ole man) sold my last Harley in 91 I think so I have not been around them for a few years but its great to be back on one. Theres something about a Harley you and the bike become one.
