Hey, it's a NEWBIE!!! Welcome from hot South Texas!!! I am assuming that the two day course is one of those MSF / Edge courses and they are they greatest thing since sliced bread!! I made the mistake and rode for many (many) years before I took my first course and wish I would have taken it years ago!!!
Enjoy your Roadking and be sure to post some pics!
Welcome and of course you're nuts! <G> We all are or we wouldn't be here. But you're also in for a lot of fun, excitement and hopefully, a shared passion with the rest of us.
I'm not usually much for signs and posters, but Saturday at my dealer's open house, I found this neat little sign with a picture of a Harley in the background and etched on clear plexiglass are the words,
Own the POWER
SEIZE the hour,
LIVE your dream.
It totally captivated me and I decided I wanted to have it. However, I was also buying some parts and so I paid at the parts counter. I was antsy re: having bought a sign with sentiment and not feeling to retrosexual (see another thread) and wondering what the parts guy would say. He picked up, looked at it and said, "Wow, that's really cool. I didn't know we had these. Where'd you find it?"
So, welcome to the people who are nuts, or have them (Male and female!)
