Dotcom2000 When the weather is nice in the mountains I frequently ride the Rim of the World route. I also spend quite a bit of time in northern San Diego county when it is not too hot in the plains. One of my favorite routes is heading up through Idyllwild on the 243 then cutting south on the 74 to the 371 west. From there I cut south again on the 79 towards Warner Springs and around to the 76 with a stop off at the Hideout for a cold beverage. I usually make my way back through the Pala reservation and Temecula and back up the 15. This run totals about 225 miles and provides me with many different types of riding from mountain twisties to wide open plains.
It looks like we are in the same area. PM me if youd like to get out and ride someplace.
