I started my Harley riding with a Sportster, then the Street Bob. Now I have a 2008 Softail Deluxe and it is BY FAR the most comfortable and best riding bike for me. Very smooth, easy to handle, and it's beautiful.
Check it out. Good luck.

I guess the Super Glide has been around SOOOO long, that all the new reports are for the newer models..... thus the lack of information (to you) regrding the Super...
As with MOST things in life... the bike choice is a deeply personal one... you will get a fine bike either way, but you'll get more (biased) information at the DYNA forum.

welcome, and let the FUN begin
Welcome to the forum. As with most choices it's a subjective decision. I have an 05 SG w/forward controls, Mustang seats and a few other goodies. I love it. Had an 05 Nomad. Big bagger. It was fun, but way to big for my riding tendencies. Wife goes once in a while. So the SG is perfect for me. Solo is great. Two up is great. Remember, subjective. You can't go wrong with either....but one will be perfect. Geezer
