Would I be a poser if I wore my Harley jacket before actually owning a jacket?
Hey... that doesn't make sense does it? LOL.
Congratulations on doing thing the right way. Taking the MSF course is smart, getting a smaller bike to learn on and then trading up once you get the hang of it is smart and buying and wearing a leather jacket before you get your bike is absolutely brilliant. That way you can have it all broken in when it comes time to ride. I wore my Vanson Model B jacket when I took the course, and had I not broken that jacket in, I would not have been able to steer. Those suckers are tough. Wear the jacket!
By the way, what jacket did you get? I have a huge jacket collection, but I have no Harley jackets yet. It is a matter of time though.
