I would think there are some who had a Harley and clothing then sold their bikes and still wear it, so i dont think it would be much diff. since you are getting one asap anyway..

Woohoo! I'm riding!
Took my MSF course weekend before last.
Been rainy and miserable outside till yesterday.
But there was really heavy fog, so I didn't want that to be my first time riding.
It cleared up around noon and was a beautiful day.
I bought an Iron 883 Sportster. I LOVE the bike.
It's so much fun to ride, I keep going out on rides with no destination. It's fun just to ride!
Just look at the weather, Sunny all weekend here in Chesapeake VA.

Howdy and welcome from The Republic! Ditto to PastorTom's comments. Too many folks worry about what other's think. If you want to wear the jacket, do it. Good luck with your new Sporty. They're great, I had a '99 1200C for 10 years.
