Hey everyone, I'm Chris and I just signed up for this site. Currently I'm finishing out my enlistment obligation to the US Army and am serving in Holland for about another week. I intend to buy a HD from the military exchange but being that I have very little riding time I came here to get some advice. I like the V-Rod but also want to go with something more traditional HD. Something like a Dyna Low Rider, StreetBob, or a ST Night Train. If I buy the bike throught the exchange I will get enrolled automatically in the rider's edge program. I really want a nice bike but am a little worried that I'm thinking too big. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Well at least you're ARMY! Welcome to the group CD. You'll find any of the bikes you listed to be an excellent choice. It's really a matter of personal taste. I ride an FLSTCI because it's not only the baddest looking ride Harley sells, but it fits my likings.
Howdy Chris, welcome to the forum. I feel that picking out a new Harley is really up to the individual likes and dislikes of that person. About picking out a new bike, I have known some people that have started out small and regretted that move. They find, that once they get used to that bike, they find that is is too small for their needs. I would look at something in the middle and start from there.Good luck
