I just bought an 09 Fatbob and am in the throes of sorting it out.
So far it has got the usuals - pipes, racetune ECU & High flow filter, plus saddlebag supports.
I have also extended the gear shift lever because HD use the same one as on the mid-mount Dynas (Superglide, Street Bob etc) but on the Fat bob the pivot point of the gear shift is 1" behind the foot peg, effectively shortening the gear lever.
Solution - get a second hand lever (early Softail in my case), cut it in half & weld an extra inch into the lever. Gearshifts are a lot easier now that I can get my foot under the lever.
I stumbled across the forum looking for a cissy bar upright to fit the bike & saw Pip's post. I will post a reply to him there.
