Used Hog?

I am looking to purchase my first Harley and found a 2004 Softail Heritage. 7,000 miles on it 1 owner garaged kept. Not sure what to look for and beware of. Any help would be great.

thanks, cant wait to buy a bike, just started looking. So many decisions to make, what should I look for as far as buying a used Hog?

bout the same as U would a used car..what looks do U like?,
what is Ur riding style?, then:
*condition.
*miles.
*records.
*add-ons.
*history.

then price,

I would get someone who knows the right things to look for, service dept, independent service, close friend that has a harley, and I would look at the record of the bike. Welcome from New Mexico.
