hey my name is Jarod im 19 years old and i am getting my bike license at the end of june. I plan on gettin an 08' nightster from a relative brand new with 27 miles on it. Its going to be my first motorcycle obviously and am new to driving motorcycles/dirt bikes/manual cars. I can drive a manual car after maybe one try because im probably rusty. I heard from a few people that the nightster would be a great bike for me so i am really excited to get it! Thanks

Look into taking a riders course, maybe MSF or the Harley one.

Welcome , from Raleigh
+1 on taking a class..... a manual tranny car, is NO training for a motorcycle
