Just bought my first Harley, 2004 Softail Heritage, what do I use to clean bike, chrome, saddlebags? Windsheild?? thank you.

Do a search on cleaning products used by other forum members-too many options to list. I use S100 or Wizard Bike Cleaner for general cleaning and warm water on the windshield. A good detail spray will take care of most everything else. Welcome from Louisiana!

"Lemon PLedge" the furniture polish does a real good job on everything but the tires. Never tried on leather. The trick is to apply with soft towel just like you would do your furniture, let set then go over everything with a clean dry towel.

Wash by hand!!! No pressure washers - it forces moisture into the wheel bearings and the electrical which will result in "issues".

Go to the Detailing page (https://www.hdforums.com/forum/detai...?daysprune=100) - lots of suggestions for cleaning and maintenance there...
