Traded in my 03 Sportster last week and picked up a brand new 2009 Red Hot Sunglo Dyna Super Glide.
Man! What a difference! I was all worried about riding it home since the only two bikes I ever rode was my Sportster and the Wife's 650 suzuki. Oh, also the little 250 at the MSF course. By the time I got up to 3rd gear I knew this was a good move. My Sportster was like riding a 500lb sextoy. You had to fight it at all times and it wanted to fall over at slow speed. The Superglide is like getting behind the wheel of a Lexus.
Anyway... My wife and I decided we wanted to ride last year and took the MSF course in September. I bought the Sportster and she picked up a Suzuki Savage and we found out that we love riding! I traded my Sportster for $200 less than what I paid and she just made $500 on the Suzuki. We just picked up her 2009 Street Bob!
Just stopping to say hello and hope to be posting much more in the future.
Congrats on the new scoots. There's no going back now. hehe. Welcome. Tons of info and great people here. You'll not find a finer place to hang around. Glad you joined. Geezer
