Default andygears...new??

Hi folks, I'm andygears, live in Daytona, owned hogs since about 1975. Presently, I've got about 3 and a half: A 1999 E-glide classic, 95 inch, cammed, FI that's my daily driver. Also, have an '87 classic that shows 105K on the original motor but went thru a major facelift/lowering last year for my wife, Snake, Flat purple paint, glass fenders, slammed w/11 in. shocks, low profile tires, my own 2 into 1 exhaust, her beautiful custom uphostery and other tidbits. The half is a 2005 santee swingarm roller with a '82 dual disc sporty front end. And my newest is a almost stock unrestored '72 Superglide, Man! I wish that one could talk, it looks like 37 years of hard riding, Whew, drunken escapades, burnouts, parties, runs.... the previous owner had known the bike since '81, and in the Daytona area, just think about it's past.

Anyway, I'm a journeyman machinist, run CNC stuff for a livin, Been wrenching since High School. I'm kinda new to this site, but used to go to the "Babe-on-HD" site regularly, and post tech help and so on. Unfortunately, some of my personal life was revealed there, by me, then twisted by others and screwed with my life. So at the outset, let's get one thing straight. KEEP THE F**K OUT OF MY PERSONAL LIFE!!

I've got some pretty good knowledge, built quite a few customs, worked at a dealership for a short time, and will give away any tricks I've learned thru the years. I'm sometimes long-winded, outspoken, but most often I've "been there done that". That said there's some stuff I don't know and hope to gain certain info from becoming a member. I don't always have time to browse but will check in from time to time to see what's new.

Guess that's it

Thanks Tom, good to meet ya. The stuff I machine now becomes underwater extention cables for offshore oil wells. Basically a long kevlar heater hose with titanium or stainless fittings on the end. They make a live fiber optic connection under a mile deep water pressure when a robot plugs em in. Worked a bunch o'places in the northeast in the past.
