Hi all. Ive been poking around HDForums for about 6 months now and I figured I might as well register and take another step. I feel like Im in a 12 step program on getting ready to buy the first Harley.
So - just cause someone told me to and its the polite thing to do...here's a quickie about me:
Ive been riding ATVs and dirtbikes since I was about 10 yrs old...but took the last decade off just because I couldnt find the time. I got back into the offroad scene when I got my 7 yr old his first dirtbike, and now Ive got the itch again to add a Harley to my garage.
Still in the infancy stages - yet again - of looking at the Fat Boys and Heritage Softails. Still toying with the idea of a new bike and adding my own flavor to it or getting a used bike from a dealership that has some goodies already added.
Its been a while since Ive had 600+ lbs beneath me, so Ive got some relearning to do...but thats half the fun of getting back on the road again.
Anyway, thanks in advance to all who have been sharing their knowledge with the new guys...and gals!
