I ordered my bike in April and I feel like I am getting the run around about when it will be here. I was told it will ship on the 10th and be here on the 15th. On the 15th I was told it was shipped today (on the 15th) and will be here and ready the 18th. On the 18th I was told it is expected any day but it will not be ready until next week. I don’t think they know any more then the weatherman. These are not sales people these are order takers. Didn’t someone tell HD that people would be buying? I mean I have been in the Stealership three times. I have called a half dozen times. Fees for this fees for that, setup fees, delivery fees, documentation fee. No dealing or discounts at all, pay what they want or go away.
Harley Davidson had better get it together or someone (Victory) is going to step in and take over. The only reason I have not canceled and went and bought a Victory/Star/Boulevard/Goldwing is because I have always dreamed of a HD. How many orders do they loss to people that do not want to play the game, or refuse to pay list plus 10% in fees. These people will not deal at all. I mean my god this place does not even have e-mail. I half expected to get a refusal notice that HD did not want me as a rider.
I sent out a request to 5 dealers asking for a price on a new bike with the listed items, hoping to get some type of discount. I got one answer that was $30 more then what I already had.
Hello and welcome from ocean city! my bike shipped yesterday(so they say, I was so busy at work today I never got a chance to call!) I guess we will see tommorow> what did you order?
I was lied too jerked around about delivery date and all sorts of bad things. I did raise all hell with everyone upline from the dealer. I got a few "free t-shirts" heck the one boss felt so bad he paid for Hog Membership for 5 years. You could always lay down the threat that you will take your money back and spend it elsewhere, but they will sell the bike to someone else that will sing their praise. Need to raise hell and stay on their butts like a white on rice.
Thanks............ I feel alot better. I run a sales team and I just expected to be treaded with a little better care. I work hard to keep my customers informed and happy. I just got the feeling that they do not give a crap about me as a customer. I ordered a 1200 Sportster Custom chopper/blue and silver with pullback handle bars and some crome covers here and there. I guess when I was told it ships the 10th and you will have it on the 15th, that five days wait was full of anticipation. Then when I called on the 15th and was told it was shipping then and I would have it the 18th that was three more days with anticipation. At least now I know it is on the way and I REALLY should have it early next week. Again thanks for your understanding and not plasting me for being alittle childish.
