Hello from Columbia, MO
i agree you should be mad as hell but i also agree with the earlier reply-
When you pick it up all the anger will melt away.
You'll be in HOG Heaven!
All bikes are great bikes but if you get mad and walk away from what you really wanted you'll regret it for a long time, till you trade again and get a Harley.
In the end it's you and the bike, the dealer is a temporary evil.
Sorry to hear about the delay in getting your bike. Although, manufacturing can and do happen, it stikk sucks when you are the one waiting and anticipating. I do not know about what things are like out by you, but around here, sportys are flying out of the dealerships at a breakneck pace. I suspect it may have something to do with the price of gas.
What is the sales volume at your dealership, there are initial allocations prior to filling orders. If you feel like you are getting the runaround, ask your dealership to check around to see if anyone else has a bike just like yours. That being said, the bike from the factory may actually get to you before the one from another dealership.
This is no consolation, but once it is here...all the anziety will be forgotten. Kinda like women having a second baby...who would want to go through all THAT again?
Congrats gunner! my dealer called today I ordered my bike in early febuary, I called a couple of weeks ago they said it would ship the 17th of may she called today and said its in. I asked how long she told before it is rady she said june 1st!! (whats another 2 weeks?)
