Does this BOTHER you?
Several of the HD dealers I’ve done business with in the past have come up with a new scheme. They’ll call me on my cell phone or my home phone to tell me of their “specials” or upcoming dealer events. It goes something like this: “… Hi, my name is BOTHERSOME and I wanted to tell you about a great upcoming event we’re having at HIPRESSURE HD. It’s going to be real fun and we’d sure like to have you attend! There will be refreshments and snacks, plus you can look at the NEWWHATEVER. Can I count on you attending and put your name down on my list? When you come in, just ask for BOTHERSOME…”
I know sales are likely down, but I’m getting sick and tired of these calls! Does anyone else get calls like this? Like them or would rather not get them?

We have one store in Oklahoma City that required each of their sales folks to make a minimum of 25 calls a day to potental customers. Two of them had my name and they knew I was happy with my new bike, but they called me just to whittle down their list. They also have the reputation of the highest prices in the city. I always felt if they came off those prices just a little, they would not have to bother their customers with the calls.

I work as a part time salesman at my local dealership and I can tell you that we would never do that. That is a good way to not get any business in my opinion.

Business is Down big time in North Dallas area, all the business seems to go to Grand Praire, and for good reason.
I wont name them, but you can look them up....
