Default Wow, what a site!

I am a newbie here, from Ohio.

I love this website! There is almost too much good stuff to see here.

I am new to "late" model Harleys, just purchasing a very nice '07 Ultra. I also own a 1940 WL that was my father's, and a '69 FLH that I restored.

I am the type who only visits the dealer to get what I need to keep rolling, and do most all work myself. Hopefully, the purchase of the '07 does not confound this. I like the stock Ultra, as it is light years ahead of pan/shovelhead with regards technology and creature-comforts.

I just installed a 68200-07 Security System on the bike, and am looking for information. Where is a good place to look for answers, as I need to know if the dealer needs to actuate the system. I went through the whole TSM/TSSM ECM Password Learn Proceedure, and all went exactly as supposed to, but the system will not arm. Hmmm....

I will head off to the dealer if I have to, just looking for answers here.

Thanks to those who respond, and I appreciate the help.

Welcome from Bristol, England.

I would love to see a picture of the 1940 WL on here.

Follow this link which will take you to the forum index page. From there try looking in the Tech and Do It Yourself forums which might have something related to your problem.

Good luck solving your alarm issue.

Default The "old" stuff in the shop

Here is the 45 WL and the '69 FLH. Don't tell anyone that the 45 has a '53 "G" motor, as well as a Mikuni carb. The original parts are tucked away.
