I Got My HD !
Greetings To All !
I just purchased my first HD motorcycle ! ! YES !
I currently own a 2002 Yamaha Road Star Silverado. It's a beautiful bike that I love; however, I got the chance to buy a HD and jumped on it. I now own two awesome motorcycles.
I bought a 1999 HD Sportster 883. It only has a little over 5800 miles on it ! Its black w/ a detachable windshield. It has the Screaming Eagle pipes and air cleaner. The "Harley Tax", right ?
I know a lot of people say the 883 isn't a mans bike but I remember when the 750 was a big bike. So, why not an 883 ? Besides, It's a HD and it just don't get any better than that !
I'm looking forward to doing some customizing to it. I'm going to add a set of forward controls; highway bars; a Sissy bar and back rest; a set of saddle bags; and some more chrome, of course.
Are there any other HD forums you would suggest. Any forums or sites that sell HD parts and accessories at a discount ?
Anyway, I found this forum and thought I'd introduce myself.
