Finally pulled the trigger and got my first HD. Really, really pleased so far ... but I only got about 2k on in the last three weeks, so time will tell. I have high hopes however. I've been riding forever, but metric only up to now.
Anyway I've been browsing the forums and found so much useful information (and some that's funny but not so useful) that I had to join in. Hope I'm able to contribute myself soon and get this signature and avatar stuff figured out eventually

Look around, lots of Sections and areas. Common questions have been asked and answered 100's of times. Using the search in here or Google will get U a lot of answers. If not, start a Thread in the CORRECT SECTION area.
