Been trolling around, mostly in DIY section, great tips here. This 04 Ultra is my 3rd HD out of 20+ bikes over the years. Number of street bikes is catching up with number of dirt bikes. 76 Sporty & 92 Fat Boy were both good. Ultra is my first FI bike. Got it from a 67 year young dude who loved to ride- 30K miles already on the meter. He had added lost of chrome, looks/sounds like slip-ons, stock intake. Muffs have no markings I can find on them anywhere. Like I said, mostly have ben reading here; do notice muffs and intake are commmon changes. I do have some popping on decel, hadn't given it much thought till started reading here. Now I wonder if I need to take it and have it hooked up to computer to see what may have been changed. Again, great site!

might be stock muffs with altered baffles. that would also give some decel pops.
hooking it up to comp won't tell U if motor work has been done, need to ask other owner.
TC's might give off a little more heat than the EVO's but more so because of the batwing and if U have lowers that will make a bigger diff..
