Pipe change
I have an 09 Ultra S.E. Lookin to change from the stock pipes. Want to louder but not obnoxious. Was looking at 2 different pipes....Rush and the Kuryakyn Beast.
I had Vance & HInes on my 07 and was notthrilled with the sound....too quiet...seemed to be just above stock.
Has anyone heard the Rush or Beast mufflers...and do you NEED to get a race tuner installed?

Lots of sections for Info. Newbie questions like; (BEST) Seats, Tires, Oils, Cams, Pipes, are asked repeatedly, Doing a search in here, or Google will get most answers.
If not, start a Thread, in the CORRECT SECTION area.

I have Rush on my 09 EG Classic, and like 'em. Have 2.5" baffles in them. Nice, but not obnoxious. I've "heard" guys on here say that they liked the 1.75" or 2.0" baffles, but they weren't loud enough for me. I now have a real nice sound for a bagger, I think. Not everybody likes Rush though. I'd suggest going to a bike night, or to a dealer on a Saturday morning, and start nosin' around. People will be glad to fire it up so you can hear the pipes. When you hear something you like, you'll know it. That's how I did it. Rush was recommended by a few people, but I didn't decide on it until I heard them & said, "that's what I want, right there." I have a Harley Race Tuner on mine, and it's been on a dyno. Runs great.
