Thanks for the hospitality guys. Your welcome is certainly genuine! It sounds like the restrictions to modifications on future models will be a pain in the **** for anyone who wants to get a little extra oommph from their scoot. I would be suprised to think that the company would want to lose all of that profit from the performance and accessory market. But if this is the case I think that by waiting until the 2006 models come out I might be shooting myself in the foot. Time to take a hammer to that Harley piggy bank and visit my local dealer.
That's what I ended up doing. I didn't want to have to worry about new EPA regs so I bit the bullet and traded in on my dream bike. A Night Train. I haven't regretted it one bit and I doubt you will either.
Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you're getting the best Harley model out there. Of course I could be slightly biased. Don't forget that Vivid Black is the fastest color.

Believe me, I'm sure the MoCo doesn't want to lose the profit,it's the EPA that's breakin' it off in there butts...
welcome to the forum, as far as 06 models, harley is pretty closed lipped about up coming models that are due out in august. I hope that the company will start offering the 95 motor as an option on new bikes, a logical way to let the consumer decide what size motor he/she wants. We will see....
