New to harleys
what's up everybody ? New to Harley's I am getting ready to trade my Mid-
Engine Buggie for a 1979 shovelhead Don't know much about that year. Is
it a good year to get ? The bike has a new wideglide frontend, new elec. ing
also new s&s carbs he says it is a 1340
If anybody has anything to tell me PLEASE e-mail today I may be trading in the next few hours

By the way I am 50 6'1 at 285 don't know if that will make a difference on the bike. Thanks

don't really make a whole lotta sense to trade for something U know very little about and then get on here at the last minute prior to trading,to try to educate Urself...
lots of riders like the older pans and shovels...
I had several co-worker that had a 70's SG's. I would not want one for my main rider. IMO the Evo's was the start of the turn around..
